Easter Egg Hunt with a Twist
If you have walked through store aisles lately, you've seen many reminders (yummy reminders!) that Easter is coming. Bring on the Easter egg hunt! Here is how I am using this as a fun learning activity this year.
1. Put an Easter relevant picture in each plastic egg. (Free printable on the right.)
2. Hide the eggs all over the house and/or garden.
3. Send the kids out to find the eggs.
4. When they find an egg, have them run back to you and tell you what the picture is called in Cantonese.
5. One point for finding an egg with a picture, and another point for saying the right Cantonese word.
6. After they have found all the eggs, hide them and play again!
Before playing this game, of course you need to learn more Easter relevant vocabulary.
