Cantonese Flashcards

 

Flash cards can make a real impact on visual learners. They can be used to practice and recycle vocabulary, and can be used in various activities. Here are some activities you can use flashcards in (one on one, or a small group):

 

1. Slow reveal. Cover the flashcard with something. Slowly reveal the flashcard until a kid shouts out what it is.

2. Race to the card. Stick laminated flashcards around the room. Say one of them and kid(s) run to it.

3. Clues. Hold a card against your chest. Give clues to let kid(s) guess what the card is.

 

Click on a picture to download the flashcards (4 flashcards on an A4 paper).  You may want to laminate the flashcards so they can survive repeated use or rough play.
